Steven Traugh is an internationally acclaimed composer, performer, film maker, author and producer. He has appeared on the Today show with Barbara Walters, The Sunday Show, Steps to Learning and an Emmy Award winning segment of Romper Room. Steven also works behind the camera producing documentary films and educational TV shows for both cable and PBS stations.
In great demand as composer of Early Childhood music, Steven has composed and recorded over 200 CD's for educational publishers around the world. Steven in collaboration with his wife, Susan Traugh, is a published author of over 50 books. Their latest title, "Mother Goose Brain Boost," won Learning Magazine's "Teachers Choir Award." Steven often appears as a presenter and featured author at conferences around the country.
Steven's classical music has been performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Pittsburgh and Toledo Symphonies. He is a well known composer/arranger of music for percussion ensemble with performances world wide. Due to his many successful recordings and videos, Steven spends an increasing amount of time in the Kiducation Productions studio working as a producer. Projects include music, sound design, sound for picture, television editing and video production.
Steven Traugh is known internationally for his work in education. He is a frequent presenter at conferences and universities across the country. Steven has won several Teacher of the Year awards including the Los Angeles Music Center's prestigious "Bravo" award as Outstanding Arts Teacher of the Year.
